Standard size cylinders for E-Type Jaguars are 8777-18 on the front calipers, and 8778-34 on the rear. Oversize cylinders (8777-14 front, and 8778-78 rear) will provide approximately 10-15% greater force on the brake rotor, decreasing the required brake pedal pressure during braking, and potentially shortening stopping distances.

Also now available:
Race ready modern brake upgrade. This upgrade consists of new (2) piece brake
rotors of 12.9" overall diameter, (6) piston billet aluminum brake calipers, extreem
duty brake pads, stainless steel braided brake lines, CNC machined mounting
brackets and all necessary mounting hardware. These kits are made to order and
cost $2750.00* each.
The rotors used are 1.25" thick, have slotted faces and feature curved cooling vanes for faster heat dissipation. The brake pad material included can be of your choosing (at additional cost), or the brake kit can be shipped without pads at the purchaser's discretion ($50* credit).
Note: The parts added to this page will be phased in over the next six months. The Clutch Slave Cylinders and racing caliper upgrades are now available. The Master Cylinders have been postponed due to the difficulty (and the associated high cost) of the machining involved.
